Apple reduces SSL/TLS certificates accepted lifespan to 1 year

Apple has announced that from 1st September 2020 all Apple devices will not recognise any SSL/TLS certificate that has a valid duration of more than 1 year (398 days to be precise). Engineers are working on an issue in the Croydon Data Centre. This is affecting some Shared hosting accounts, virtual servers, broadband and leased line connections.
